At Pellow Roofing your safety is our concern. Whether installing a flat roof or a tanking system that will stand our clients in good stead for years to come, we work with our clients and their architects to ensure the best product is chosen for their requirements.
This includes carrying out a safety appraisal and recommending flat roofing systems which are appropriate to the situation including:
Accessibility
Given the nature of the space and its accessibility whether a heat or cold application system would be more appropriate
Utilisation
Given the expected use of the building and the space how strong or flexible the system needs to be
Requirements
The eco/green/insulation requirements of the client
Naturally, as you would expect we have full comprehensive insurance cover with £10m employers’ liability and £5m Public liability. We also bring our more than 40 years combined waterproofing experience on ensuring all our tasks are completed safely and every job has a first aider on site. We are registered with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and we are also a CHAS accredited contractor and are trained in health and safety to a supervisory level.
Chas & SMAS Worksafe certificate
We are pleased to have gained a Chas & SMAS Worksafe certificate (www.smasltd.com). This means that we have met the SSIP core criteria recognised by the HSE and other SSIP accreditation schemes. Meeting the SSIP Core Criteria demonstrates that we are serious about H&S and have (and use) an effective H&S Management System to ensure that any work they are engaged in is, so far as reasonably practical, carried out without risk to health and safety.
