EPDM Rubber Roofing
When you are looking for a long lasting dry solution for your flat roof then EPDM Rubber may be the answer. Ideal for porch roofs, garages, carports, balconies; in fact in any domestic flat roof situation EPDM rubber is waterproof and flexible.
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber, more widely known as EPDM rubber, is a synthetic rubber solution which is not just used for roofs. It is utilised in a variety of products from car door, bonnet, or boot seals to electrical insulation; in fact EPDM is used across industry in applications where water resistance is required. Its insulating properties are also useful when it is used as a seal for cold-rooms. It is especially useful for rubber roofing membranes where run-off rainwater is going to be re used as it doesn't pollute the water. This proven technology means that EPDM rubber roofing provides a high performance watertight solution for your flat roof.
Other benefits of EPDM include:
Eco-friendly
EPDM is classed as an eco-friendly material and because it is installed cold, requires no additional energy use at installation. In addition, the EPDM roof material does not pollute, making it safe to use for rainwater collection systems.
Durable
EPDM roofing has good weathering and ozone resistance which means that it won’t craze or crack up when subjected to extremes of weather. We are presently able to provide 20 year guarantees although we are aware that some EPDM roofs are still going strong after 50 years. EPDM roofs are also moss and fungus resistant.
Easy to Install
Because EPDM roofs are installed cold, there is no fire risk and installation is generally quicker than with some “hot” installed roofs.
We work closely with architects and builders to design the optimum solution and can provide suggested roof plans for any scenario.
